Eleito 2012 pelo DEM com 1.780 votos. Foi reeleito em 2016, pelo PSDB, com 1.288 votos. Igualmente pelo PSDB, em 2020, teve 766 votos e ficou como suplente.

Cumpre o seu quarto mandato na Câmara Municipal, tendo sido eleito pelo PL em 2024 com 858 votos.
